Theresa Rudel Owner, BOARD30 Studio

I have been in fitness my whole life. From growing up doing gymnastics and dance, to group sports, running, cycling, bodybuilding, and triathlons - movement is in my family. I have enjoyed climbing 38 of the 14'ers in Colorado over the last 15 years with my husband. I started teaching group fitness and then went into personal training, which I have been doing for the last 20 years. I enjoy sharing my love for healthy lifestyles and physical well-being with people, and bringing the athlete out in everyone. I believe that with a positive attitude and an uplifting energy toward life, good things will come your way. This came true for me when I found BOARD30. As soon as I stepped onto the BodyBoard I could not get enough of it. I knew it would be a perfect fit for Fort Collins.


Debi Kennison

Debi Kennison is a living example of embodied movement. Her teachings through Yoga, Pilates, Dance, and the Franklin Method provide tools and practices for a holistic approach to health and happiness. Functional movement and mindfulness principles are fundamental to her core practices to facilitate strength, flexibility, stability, balance and postural improvements.

Debi’s commitment to her own health and well-being provides a road-map for all that want to achieve lifelong vitality. Debi is a pioneer in both the movement and mindfulness arena, employing Dynamic Neurocognitive Imagery with Behavioral Science to help people achieve genuine and sustainable well-being.


Pamela Simmons-Lee

At the start of my fitness journey, I gravitated towards running regularly and competing in races ranging from 5K's to 50K’s. I regularly cross train on a road bike, incorporate functional training and yoga.

Being a spouse of twenty plus years, mom of three children, a volunteer with SAVA (Sexual Assault Victims Advocacy), National Charity League, CPR/AED certified and now instructing on the BOARD30 BodyBoard; fitness is as present and enjoyable in my life as it was at the start.


Shannon Moore

C.P.T (Certified Personal Trainer) C.M.T (Certified Massage Therapist, BOARD30 Body Board Certified InstructorShannon is a runner, yogi, winter sports lover, and fitness enthusiast who possesses a creative fascination of the human form and the fluidity of its movement. Her passion has developed into the integration and understanding of the next level of mind, and body.

Shannon has worked in the fitness industry for over 25 years. During this time, she also worked for an athletic event timing company for 15 years, which enabled her to develop an appreciation for the dedication and inspiration that athletes bring to their training and racing. Along the course of this journey of health and fitness she received her personal training certificate and massage therapy certificate in 1999. Shannon’s 10 years as a massage therapist have given her unique insight to muscular structure and the body in general as a cohesive harmonic form. Shannon lives in Fort Collins with her super cool husband, daughter, and hound dog.

Alka Rennat

Fitness and sports have always been a fundamental aspect of my life, whether it be getting outdoors with my friends and family or participating in school athletics. Track was my main passion. I ran the 100m & 200m sprint in varsity track and went on to place in Colorado state competitions. That sparked my fervor for fitness, and I have continued to move my body in a variety of ways. I am continuously trying to mix up my fitness routine through running, cycling, hiking, yoga, snowboarding, tennis, and whatever else sounds fun!
I currently manage a chiropractic office here in town and am certified to take x-rays for them. This chiropractic experience has enlightened me on fundamental anatomy, as well as the importance being active in order to take care of the mind and body. Additionally, I am CPR certified. After doing Board30, I knew I had found a workout that is not only super diverse, but enjoyable!

I have been around sports and fitness my entire life. Growing up I played a multitude of sports through high school (All-state in basketball and track) I eventually settled on track/cross country where I competed for C.S.U. I had a successful career where I was a 4 time All-Mountain West, 2 time All-Regional, Mountain West Champion and NCAA participant.
I am certified both in Yoga and Yoga sculpt as well as Board30.
I also have a passion for food and nutrition and its ability to change your life.

Matthew Huerta

My passion is teaching others how to move their bodies in a way that eliminates pain, builds strength, and optimizes their physical performance. I strongly believe this requires us to start from a place of loving ourselves and a desire to improve upon who we were yesterday.

A background and certifications in; personal training, holistic lifestyle coaching, and Stick Mobility, provide me with a broad skill set and a unique coaching style.

I cannot wait to build community around health and fitness at Board30!

Taylor Boswell

Taylor Boswell

Since she was young Taylor has always valued exercise and movement. She played soccer and tennis throughout high school and began to learn more about fitness and nutrition during this time. She became fascinated with resistance band training after attending a Board30 class in New Mexico. Due to her passion for the workout, she obtained a Certified Personal Training license through ISSA and has been a trainer for the past two years at Board 30 in Arvada, Colorado. Over these past two years she has fallen in love with this style of exercise and is passionate about sharing the benefits of the workout with others. She is thrilled to continue her Board30 career here in Fort Collins while she studies Landscape Architecture at CSU. “Nothing makes me happier than enjoying physical fitness with a community of people that encourage and push each other to strive higher.” When not at Board30 or in class, you can find Taylor exploring the local trails or skiing the backcountry.
